Many Bulgarians warned me about travelling by train: slowly, dirty and old trains, not in time, ... Today I finally dared to try it and I had a wonderful day! With two colleagues I travelled from Dobrinishte to Sofia and yes, it was very slow and the train was old (from 1973), but we passed by beautiful mountain landscapes and even the highest train station of the Balkan peninsula (Avramovo).
