At the moment I'm in Dobrinishte, which is a village close to the famous Bansko ski resort in the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria. Recently, there are new plans for commercial logging and additional skiing infrastructure in Pirin National Park (listed as UNESCO World Heritage). "Спаси Пирин" means "Save Pirin" and refers to a movement against these plans. In Sofia you can find a lot of graffitis etc. with this slogan and demonstrations are organized regularly.
