Vitosha is a mountain massif very close to Sofia and a popular place for skiing and hiking. Today I finally went there for the first time. One of the 12 European long-distance footpaths (E4, starting in Portugal and ending in Cyprus) leads through Vitosha, as I found out when I passed by this sign. But I thought that this is maybe a little bit too ambitious for me, so I decided to follow the path to the district of Dragalevtsi where you can take a comfortable bus back to the city.
